OSEPA State Project Director Sangita Behera wrote a letter to the Education Officers and District Project Coordinators of all the districts on 26th of this month informing about the distribution of uniforms and shoes etc. to students studying from class 1 to 8 in all government and government-aided schools in the state.

As per the decision of the state government, from the current academic year (2025-26), students studying from class 1 to 8 in government and government-aided schools will be provided with 1 pair of shoes, 2 pairs of socks, one T-shirt and track pants, one cap (with branding) and one i-card at a cost of Rs 500 per head. These items will be distributed under the PMShri scheme of the central government and the Gangadhar Meher Education Standard Improvement Scheme of the state government.
